Our First Festka!
In case you don’t know who Festka are, here is a brief overview. Based in the heart of Europe and drawing on the cycling tradition of the Czech Republic, they produce top quality handcrafted frames from cutting-edge materials. Their manufacture is centred around the implementation of technologically-advanced carbon composite tubes, and their combination with titanium of the highest quality. They produce 500 hand-made and hand-painted bicycles a year.
Each one of them is a bit different and every piece is very much unique, so a Festka always reflects its rider and his/her needs. They invest a lot into development and every new model is a fusion of construction alchemy and riding experience.
In cooperation with their partners, leading specialists in carbon composite materials, they are conducting ongoing R&D to make technological improvements of both base materials and frame construction. The synergy of machine manufacture with the careful touch of human hands gives rise to state-of-the-art bicycles which are perfectly functional, extremely efficient and utterly attractive.
Now that we have introductions out of the way we received our first bicycle from them on Friday and we had it built by the end of the day due to pure excitement. Needless to say we were not disappointed and we would love to hear what you have to think about it.
